Weekly Preview: Jan 25, 2021

I have the feeling that I will be doing only weekly updates here for a while.

On the reading front, I am still working on Oblomov by Ivan Goncharov. The novel is nearly five hundred pages long, so I’ll be at it for a while.

I have much to report in terms of writing this week. Intersection Thirteen is set up in Amazon, and I’ve got proof copies on the way. The plan is for me to do one more read through and then call it ready to go for its March release. I’ve gotten Chronicles of Ytria into a state where it’s ready for beta readers, and I’ve started to send that around. I also did a ton of outlining for The Ghost King this weekend and added 500 words to its draft. The current total length is about 1,700 words.

Now that The Ghost King is beating at the inside of my skull, I find it necessary to direct my effort exclusively to its creation. General blogging is on hold for the foreseeable future, but I’ll continue weekly updates on its progress at a bare minimum.
